Fly Tipping

Fly tipping is a blight on our allotment site, it is anti-social, dangerous to people and the environment, illegal and costing us money. In order to assist the council in preventing this from happening I have created this blog site to publish incidents online which the council can then investigate and act upon.

With regards to the law people caught fly-tipping can be fined up to £20,000 and/or 6 months imprisonment.

if you wish to report some fly tipping to the blog please click on the comments link under the most recent entry. Once I have verified the report I will then publish it on the site. Please try to include the following where possible:

* the date, time and place of the occurrence

* what the waste looks like and how much of it there is

* description of any vehicles involved along with their vehicle's registration numbers.
